We are situated near the top of the High Street in Winchester. Walcote Place is just off the High Street, between StapleGardens and Tower Street, and opposite Elisabeth Frink’s popular landmark statue, known locally as ‘The Naked Man on the Horse’. Just ask for that if you’re lost.
From the Railway Station – 5 -10 minute walk
Turn right out of the main entrance of the station. Keep to the footpath that runs parallel with the railway. At the end of the footpath, carry on down Upper High Street until you see The Westgate. That’s the top of the High Street. Go down the High Street for about 100 metres, and Walcote Place is on your left, opposite The Naked Man on the Horse. You should see our pink A-board by a wall.
The nearest car park is Tower Street
(see http://en.parkopedia.co.uk/parking/winchester/ for details)
It’s currently £1.30 for 1 hour and £4.50 for 4 hours. Only 2 – 3 minutes from the shop.
Free on Sundays and we’re open on Sundays! There’s a Vintage Market in Winchester the First Sunday of every month so why not combine a visit to us with a visit to the street market!
